Refund & Cancellation Policy

Shield Training Ltd aims to provide clear and fair refund terms. By booking a course with us, you agree to the following cancellation and refund conditions.

1. Course Booking
A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cancellation by Learner
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to:
info@shieldtraining.co.uk

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date may be eligible for a partial refund (administration fees may apply).
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date are non-refundable.

Failure to attend the course (non-attendance) will result in no refund.

3. Course Transfers
Transfer requests may be considered at our discretion.
Transfers requested at least 5 days before the course start date may be approved subject to availability.
Only one transfer may be permitted per booking.

4. Cancellation by Shield Training Ltd
If we cancel or reschedule a course:
A full refund will be offered; or
An alternative course date will be provided.
We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other indirect costs incurred by learners.

5. Late Arrival
Learners arriving late may be refused entry if course requirements cannot be met. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.

6. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds outside these terms may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of management. Evidence may be required.

7. Examination Fees
Where examination or awarding body registration fees have already been paid, these may be non-refundable.
